There is a way not to have to get up at night to pee. Stay up to 5 or 6 AM and stay in bed till 8AM and then go back to bed and get up again at 10:30 go back to bed and get up at 12:45 pee and have breakfast.

Only time I did all nighters, is when I worked graveyard shifts, but I’m telling you nothing beats The feeling of going to sleep after you pull the night shift, because it feels like you have really earned it.

We have been dealing with a sick cat all week, so sleeping thru the night has been impossible.

An all nighter for me is when I get the stomach flu and spend all night in the bathroom running one end or the other or both at the same time.

Yes-good to have an all-nighter. Waking up in the wee hours to wee doesn’t mean you will go back to sleep.

You’re not talking nights from when I was on shiftwork at a 24/7 papermill. But in the 90’s, I was on dial up modem, 40 hours/month but off the clock between midnight and six. So I’d be intending to stay up for a bit but, before long, dawn was breaking and the birds were chirping. I regretted those late nights each time but kept doing it
