Well, this is kind of creepy — even for Duke.

I wonder if Daddy Donald has yet arranged to have Barron “lose his innocence”?

Interesting that Duke is already showing a (for lack of a better term) legitimate interest in Earl. That right there is more than many real-life kids get from their parents, even the ones who were present throughout their childhood. No matter what Duke and Earl are bonding over, at least they are in fact BONDING.

Any thoughts on how much “in-strip” time is supposed to have elapsed between the earlier Duke/Honey/Earl subplot week and the current Duke/Honey/Earl subplot week? How much time passed between the first day When Duke Met Earl (which is when the reprints shifted subplots) and this current installment? Less than a week? One week? Two or more? When did Honey apprise Zonker of the situation (presuming he didn’t receive the info in a drug-induced vision OSLT)? Some people (well, okay, just me) are interested in details like that. ;-)

How the heck can Duke have cards up such short sleeves?
