At the rate Tracy and Sam are running, they ought to get to the museum just after Yeti and Daisy. There won’t be anything to see, though, due to the whole “entering through the sewer system” thing.
Wait, a florist truck just driving down the street at night, will get Tracy chasing it with lights flashing? He can tell it isn’t a florist driving his business van home after a long day at the store? Tracy knows it isn’t a florist who drives the van around town as his personal vehicle (tax write-off, as a business expense because of the advertising)? When did Tracy switch from detective to clairvoyant?
Is it me, or does it seem this particular story arc started slow, had a very interesting plot develop, and suddenly is on its way to a quick end? Where’s the suspense? Where’s the story line? Usually when we reach the point of Tracy figuring out whodunit and is on the trail of the bad guy, we only have a couple days left before the climax…
My wife had her cataract surgery this morning. All went well and we are home and she is sleeping. She has a follow-up appointment tomorrow. They put a protector over her eye. I had assumed it would be like a pirate patch but it was a clear plastic patch that has air holes and she can see through it. They told her that her vision might be blurry for the rest of the day but should start to clear up by tomorrow. They also said that they put a lens into her eye that will correct her astigmatism.
So for those who told me they were considering the procedure, she said it was painless, she was awake the entire time, and it only took about 2-1/2 hours from home to hospital to operation to back home.
Thanks to everyone for the prayers, concern, and best wishes.

Sam and Tracy are hot footing it so well they may get to the museum before Yeti and Daisy.

Going to Michigan for the Holiday this early am. Will be online as access presents itself, mainly on Iowa 80 rest areas.

Ace detective Tracy lives up to my expectations! Straight to the Capp Center Museum, warp speed!
Looks like Yeti is going to find something more surprising than a meteorite when he emerges from the sewer into the museum….
