I solved that problem by putting my coffee, briefcase, etc. on the hood of the car instead of the roof. THen i see it before I drive off.

The coffee cup is on top of the car!

yup, that sounds about right.

I told my wife she was hard of hearing. She said “Huh?” Okay, old joke, but she thought it was hysterically funny.

“I’m sorry, what was your name again?”

Did that with a big plastic mug once…so the only damage was an extra trip to the car wash.

I did that once with a jar of swimming pool water I’d just had tested. It slid off and smashed all over the first intersection I turned through, but I didn’t realize what that noise was until I got home. I wonder how many car tires I ruined.
