Why does it have to be “for the Holidays”? Why not try to get together in smaller groups more often? Or wait until the family won’t endanger grandpa and grandma and get together then? Life is not a Hallmark movie. Sometimes families don’t all gather together at the Holidays.

H.L. Mencken once said, Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public From what I am reading his words were never more correct.

I am constantly astounded by those who have somehow made mask wearing a constitutional issue. Arming a militia in the event of a future enemy is one thing. Everyone knows that one has gone off earth. Denying the deadly effects of a fatal disease by ignoring common sense procedures is simply selfish and risks not only strangers but one’s own family.

The second shock is hearing someone say the numbers are the result of more testing. I want to say If that is the true cause of the increase in deaths and infections, then we stop testing, and the virus disappears!!

Prayers for the sufferers and for those too blind to see.

You people who think it is more important to get together for a big family gathering, please then, when you get the plague, stay home and die. It was your choice to take the risk, and my RN son doesn’t need any more people dying on his ward and exposing him to their stupidity— and their disease that they chose to get. He hasn’t seen me or any other member of our family since February, and won’t until he can be vaccinated.
