Cats always play with their food first. You did know that, didn’t you, mouse?

That is a real mouse trick that works with house cats. My clawless-cat would bat one, sometimes toss it across the room, and when the mouse lay lifeless, the cat would wander away, mouse would get up and run off. Fun to watch.

I’m surprised the cats fell for it. The exitement of a probable candidate clouded them.

Head for the pirate ship in Over Board. They’ll take you in but, for Heaven’s sake, put on some pants; they’re fancy…

If it works on the lab rat, see if you can sell it to humans who spend all day laying on a couch, eating chips, and commenting on silly cartoons.

They haven’t figured out yet that mere lightning won’t work. Not what Mary Shelly was talking about. In fact they get it all from movies not the novel.
