How recent was the Peruvian geoglyph of a kitty? The Quechua people (or whatever the indigenous Peruvians are called) had some kind of cat fetish?

The Octopus had every right to that kill the Eagle likely saw him as a meal before having the tables turned on him .

I’ve seen a video of the eagle / octopus encounter. I imagine it’s still on YouTube.

When I was in the 6th Grade at Claremont Elementary School in Claremore, Oklahoma, a boy with the last name of Cobb transferred in. His father’s name was Ty Cobb and he was an Officer with the Oklahoma Patrol.

Aha. Just what the ancient astronaut theorists had always suspected. Cats are ancient aliens who arrived on this planet and began ruling by enslaving the hyoomans. These humongous geoglyphs are glowing evidence that hyoomans worshipped these creatures. Even today, the cats rule with hyoomans worshipping them. Just look at all the devotional cat pictures and videos that the hyoomans keep sharing of their one true deity.

How did they just discover it when there is a pathway with stairs and handrails already built?

Check out the movie “Cobb” even if you don’t like baseball. Tommy Lee Jones played him. If the movie is accurate old Ty was one crazy sob.

Ummm, I think Mr. Ripley is wrong about this one. https://sabr.org/research/article/mlbs-annual-salary-leaders-since-1874/ Society for American Baseball Research lists four players with $10,000 a year, none of them Cobb. Cobb’s 1912 salary is listed at $9,000

Shouldn’t it be “Believe it, or Don’t”?

It takes a few hits of Peruvian hash, but you eventually see the cat.

Cobb held out, settling for the $12,000. George Washington was paid $25,000 a year as president, and the salary for president had risen to $75,000 by 1913. Babe Ruth would eventually make more than the president.

Dejected, the Eagle had to explain to his mate why she couldn’t have calamari that night.

2½ weeks later, on an adjacent hill, archaeologists discovered a 300 foot long litter box.

Ordinarily, I wouldn’t intervene to prevent predation unless the victim were either a human or property of a human. But the bald eagle probably has a more threatened conservation status than whatever species the octopus is.

Why interfere with the octopus and eagle stuggle? Have you ever scene how vicious the eagles are? They show no mercy to their victims, and tear them about while still alive octopi are way more intelligent then the relatively dumb eagles.
