We have a drawer with a bunch of twist ties in it. They are very handy for a lot of things, just like duct tape. I twist several together to get the length I need.
My hubby had cancer perforate his bowel days before Thanksgiving. He lay in the hospital for 8 days before they were willing to risk operating because of other problems. Yesterday they were able to remove the respirator from his throat. Thanksgiving dinner was by remote with my family. Yes, I am very thankful for all of it. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” I refuse to give into depression or a “bah humbug” attitude. Zec 4:10 “For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice,…”

Twist ties have become wimpy. Twist 2 of them together, NOW you have a twisty worth saving! Sign of a true Plugger..

I save those flat rectangular plastic clips from the bread bags. They’re great for scraping burned gunk out of pans.

Very cute, but not me-they are just troublesome in a junk drawer.

I particularly like the longer plastic ones that come bound around items with large electric cords and such. Very handy!

I’ve become a twist tie snob. I only save the ones coated in the black or white plastic. None of those cheap paper coated ones for me.
