Do not ever, ever purloin a basset’s bone! Jock should know better.

Another bone of contention between Fred and Jock. Let’s hope it doesn’t become more serious to-marrow…

That Jock! He’s a cute one and a good friend to you, Fred, but he is a sneak and a bone thief. Good you just took back what’s yours and didn’t smack him one. ‘Tis the season of good will and all that, but there’s a limit and giving up your bone does not fall under the heading of good will.

Fred how do you know that bone was yours and not some other dog’s ? Did you have your bone engraved ?

You can take my freedom, but yall never take my bone…..

I see that the Christmas decorations theme has been dropped for now. Hopefully Fred hasn’t harmed either the tree or himself.

A couple days ago, Harvey (the smallest mutt) had a bone, Honey took it. I offered him another bone, Sheela took that one. So, I gave him a third one. We have about 15 of those type of bones, they come in three packs. Three colors, three flavors, although you’d be hard pressed to sniff out the difference.

Fred has a bone to pick with Jock.

Jock surprised. Jock angry.

I don’t like that look in Jock’s eyes.
