Give her a ribbon on a stick. I believe that their is an Olympic sport that involves dancing and waving the stick-ribbon thing. Mimi would be a natural.

You don’t know just how accurate that statement is.

Something I learned in Toastmasters that always bugs me whenever it doesn’t happen at profesional meetings: After introducing a speaker, the emcee/moderator should stay in place, leading applause until the speaker is in place, THEN sit down. When the speaker finishes, the e/m should lead applause on their way back (and the speaker should stay put until they arrive) to announce the next speaker or event.
