Sorry, Chesney, but painting Oliver orange won’t fool anyone. Santa wasn’t born yesterday, after all. (Hopefully, he’ll give Oliver something extra nice for having to put up with Chesney’s scheme.) On another note, saw two wrens and three sparrows while out walking today.
Today after physical therapy, I baked 2 Kentucky Bourbon pies, one for my neighbor, Rex, who helps out with many things around here, and one for my neighbor, Scroggins, who repairs lawn mowers and chain saws for me, and keeps my extra pasture cut and hayed (also gives me hay for Tinkerbelle). Then I made an Orange Lightning Bread (a quick bread that is made with a whole navel orange…chopped up in processor) for Yuri, Yesmin’s mother, who has been painting and repairing sheet rock flaws and making my bedroom beautiful! Then I made a big pone of cornbread for the dressing tomorrow. Rex came by for his pie, and helped move my two ton chest of drawers back into the bedroom. I am tired!
