I thought his defense against boredom was his being terrified out of his wits by his mother’s daredevil riding.

Bored? At that age kids always want to tag along with Mum.

How about — “The Wheels on the Bicycle go Round and Round”?

Haven’t heard that tune in a while…

I believe it was Andy Kaufman who was headlining a comedy event back in the day. He came out and started singing “99 bottles of beer on the wall, 99 bottles of beer”. The audience was confused. By the 88th bottle, the fans were booing. By the 70th bottle, some started joining in. Less and less bottles, more and more joined in. By the time he got to the 50’s everyone was singing and having a grand time. Kaufman got to the 7th bottle, quit and walked off. A true twisted genius.

“You take one down, pass it around, 88 bottles of beer…”

Wait isn’t “99 bottles”? I guess it’s not really milk that rerun drinks

Tough kid, biking in the winter…

Did Mrs. Van Pelt ever put Linus and Lucy on her bike? If she did, they must’ve passed that wisdom to their baby brother.

I used to sing that when I ran on the treadmill. It was a way to pass the time.

I hope she has studded tires on that bike. Riding in winter is a good way to toughen up your kid.

I’m flashing back to Field Trips I chaperoned

Whoa- an unusual choice for a child. Wonder how much beer his father consumes?

The last panel of this one cracks me up every time. Hope they don’t skip the one where he’s running out of shoes. It may be in another arc.

Been waiting on this comic. I remembered this particular one from when I was a kid long, long ago. Now if I could just remember the important stuff I need. ;)

Shouldn’t it be root beer or has Rerun taken to drink?

I just hope he hasn’t been singing since he was born and he started at 5 million.
