That’s the only problem with dogs is that you have to walk them in all kinds of weather. Even though I love dogs and grew up with the, I’m glad I have two cats. And I do not let them out.

No “this” without “that”. :-D

One of the many, many advantages of a fenced yard. “Out you go, Big Boy. Bark when you want to come in.”

There have been times when taking the dogs out has been a blessing. Fresh air and beautiful skies, etc. And then there are other times…

I have two dogs and take them out 10-12 times a day…because they want to…no matter how cold it is.

This is when I say I’m so glad I don’t have a dog. I say that every time I see our neighbors out in the snow, rain, wind, and freezing temps walking their dogs.

No sympathy for Ben has she.

Our dogs likes, and really needs, the interactive exercise of a walk. We have an invisible fence, so we can skip the walk on really nasty days.

Ahhh.. my dear lady, a family dog means everyone has a chance to walk the dog. Not just your husband. In fact our dog wants both of us outside so we can all play frisbee. When we were younger and I was working shift work at the nuclear plant, the wife ended up walking our German Shepherds all hours of the night and day. And that was in Michigan all seasons.

ah yes…. the memories… several falls on the ice….cleaning up the snow from "Teddi’s feet/ Ah yes.. I remember it well…
