All of my dogs used to love taking a short nap on the snow mounds that shoveling created. They would be there for about 15 minutes. They were all long-haired dogs and probably were well insulated. One of them would then come inside and sleep next to the heat register or in front of the refrigerator to get warm again.

Oh, what fun he is having. I had a cat who liked to tunnel through snow drifts.

I love it when push their faces down in the snow to sniff something, then come up with a snow white face lol!

Our Corgi used to roll on her back in it and make snow Corgis! Watching that was the best part of having her.

I doubt the cat liked tunneling through snow-drifts… what other choice did he have?

I can’t imagine why anyone would choose a life that didn’t include a dog. They are contagiously happy.
