This makes me think about the Mighty Mouse cartoon. If such a creature as Mighty Mouse existed and prevented cats from culling mice and rats, we would need to kill or incapacitate it quickly to prevent a public health disaster.
Carrots have far too much sugar to be a healthy regular food for rabbits, so Billy and his brother could soon succumb to diabetes.
