Amazon my son, let me tell you about consequences. Because you were a Grinch, you are about to get your first US union ever at your Bessemer warehouse in Alabama. To paraphrase some folks I knew when i lived in Opelika, AL, “Son, when you get a union vote in Alabama, you have been messing up by the numbers.” Merry Christmas Jeff Bezos.
At that age, she will have just as much fun with the shipping boxes, as with the gift/toy inside. My nephew got a stuffed animal(teddy bear that was bigger than he was, by a couple of inches), and he and his cousin had more fun playing with/in the box.
My wife and I are going on a post Christmas trip through the new year, and beginning today we will have visits to Christmas Past right through January 6th (the Epiphany, and therefore all twelve days of Christmas, plus those leading up to it.) Be back with new ones for the new year after that.
This is the first year I’ve used Amazon for Christmas gifts (other than the occasional gift card). I still bought some locally and wrapped and mailed those gifts for the grandkids, but those were all smaller items. The bigger items (which often are also heavy) are Amazon – love the free shipping with Prime, even if it might not really be worth the membership cost (it’s just so much simpler!). The only tiny bit of guilt I feel about it is that I’m not gift wrapping the presents.

Since the families are all staying home, yeah, they get their presents in Amazon boxes. The adults can pretend to be surprised.
I want to see them next year.

Just think of all the money she saved on wrapping paper and bows.
