Now I want all of those! I really like the last one!.

We have an infestation of fruit flies in the house. I think they came in on some potting mix. Its so bad that my daughter is wearing her mask in the house. Bought some little red plastic apples that you fill with water, they go in a funnel and drown.. But they keep multiplying. SO I called the exterminator and they will be out Wed. One even flew in my nose as I was drifting off to sleep. That was the last straw!

Does anyone else like to display their Christmas cards? (Thank you QOA). This year i’ve gotten more e cards…not fair! I can’t display those. Hmmph.

Sadly, that last shirt depicts a real problem in my family. There are some who don’t speak to each other. And there are some who wish a certain someone else in the family would not speak to them. Family squabbles sure can ruin Christmas (as if COVID didn’t already do that this year already).

National Date Nut Bread Day

Make Your Christmas Candy Day. Okay, so it’s a slow day with just one “holiday” so I threw in one of my own. It isn’t really Make Your Christmas Candy Day. I made that up because that’s what I’m going to do today. I’m going to make fudge and divinty today. I’m also going to bake some sugar cookies. I’m doing what I call “cheat cookies” – using the refrigerated cookie dough. I make MUCH better sugar cookies from scratch, but I don’t have that much time before Christmas.

I’m also getting the oil changed in my car today. My day off from work is looking like a VERY busy day!

Needed to go to the Post Office to send in a large envelope of a many paged form for recertification of drug payments. There was a line on the sidewalk of about a half a dozen waiting to get in. First class $1.40 would arrive Christmas eve. Next day delivery was $26. Hopefully it will be processed by mid January when the next round of meds are necessitated.

Need two of Feline Groovy now.

Wonder what cause these shirts are rasing money for?

So I was exposed accidentally despite my efforts to a person with Covid-19 (a different person this time) for the second time. This set off a scramble to find a place that would test me and my brother. We found one, and no surprise here, both of us tested negative.

Love the “Feline Groovy” shirt. (The other two shirts are quite good too.) On another note, saw two sparrows and a chickadee while out walking today. :)
