Yep, they always know. We had in home cat sitting neighbor kids for one halcyon year and then the family moved away. Sigh.

I’m kinda surprised that Toonces didn’t rip that suitcase to pieces and then just grin.

Good for you! Hope you had a great time back in 2016. At least you could travel somewhere :-) This one reminds me of my kitties over Thanksgiving. They went to a boarding place for the first time since they were born. They non the less for wear when I returned but of course I got the usual payback.

Awwww, pouty kitty!

One time, my family and I had a male orange tabby. We were going out of town on vacation and decided to board him at the vet’s. When we returned from vacation and brought him home, he wouldn’t eat. We called the vet’s office and found out they had been feeding him chicken livers, for which he had apparently developed a taste. For the rest of his life, we had to feed him chicken livers.

My female cat does not seem to mind me going on vacation( I think she’s lying!) but, my male cat gets upset if he see my suitcase! So I pack out of his sight and leave my suitcase in the hallway!
