Our primitive ancestors were chimpanzees (at least according to theory). I’m fairly certain they ate vegetables, not bison and bacon.

I don’t get it! There is not one scrap of evidence supporting evolution, yet that is the accepted THEORY.

@KLSeering – That’s because it evolved all on its own.

Today’s strip is a good example of the condescending attitude of the Left that helped create the Trump-voter phenomenon.

(I say this as a registered Republican who just voted for a Democratic President for the first time in my long life.)

The dude behind him was a jackass who had no business saying anything.

Thank you, Jef, for that carefully delayed punch line; I really enjoy them.

I’m not quite sure I understand his whole story. Were they just so loud they got thrown out ? Who ordered the sun-dried tomatoes ?

Not really a fan of sun-dried tomatoes – that just seems like a fancy way of saying “tomatoes I forgot to bring in that got dried out in the sun”. However, while I love bacon – I’m not a big fan of it on a burger – more likely a BLT with cheese.

I fail to understand people who get offended at the very thought of a non-meat meal.

I eat meat, almost daily, but I have no objection to going to a vegetarian restaurant if I’m with a group of people who include committed veg-heads. It’s one fricking meal, for pete’s sake.

I mean, is your sense of propriety so fragile that being asked to do this is so deeply offensive?

Chimps are our very close relatives.

Frazz17 hrs · http://www.gocomics.com/frazz/2021/01/10So about a year ago, I had to stop eating stuff that’s not plants. A medical thing. Medical things happen to guys my age. Some people have to have chemo, I have to eat a slightly smaller range of stuff I already liked. All things considered, I got a pretty good deal.

Some people are confused. They can’t imagine such a diet. I get that. Meat tastes good. Butter and eggs make just about everything good. And cheese … well, cheese is cheese. It was hard for me to imagine, too, but (yet another nod to Todd Snider lyrics), it was harder to imagine than it was to do.

And then there’s the small minority who seem bothered that I’m vegan. Some of them try to straighten me out, like I’m a pagan baby and they’re missionaries from the Loving Church of the Voracious Carnivore. Or, conversely, they seem threatened, like I’m the evangelist missionary. Come on, people. Eat what you want. It’s my diet, it’s not Amway. I’m not going to try to recruit you.

Sure, I might mock you a little in the funnies, but don’t worry. You won’t feel a thing. You don’t seem like the type to notice when you’re the source of the joke.
