It must be Friday, I am waxing nostalgic … actually, first I find it amusing that so many of the commenters think that Sterling want to get INTO the “eel pit” vs. just watching the eels. Not that I disagree with him wanting to get into the pit … However, I remember going to Asian markets with my Mom and seeing all of the live fish and eel tanks. Later as a professional I did quite a bit of work in different parts of Asia and would wander through the fish markets and eat at “aquarium” restaurants just to watch all of the fish.

Sterling is so crushed. It’s like finding out that Santa Claus is just some drunk in a red suit working off a debt so he can buy more booze.

I think this is the most we’ve seen Sterling speak. It’s a complete sentence.

I really want to see Sterling playing in the “eel pit!”
Though maybe it’s better left to our imaginations.

Sterling is growing up. He’s almost as tall as Wallace.

Sterling reminds me more and more of an Addams Family character. I could see him having his own pet electric eels.

This is the first time I’ve seen disappointment on Sterling’s face.

I don’t get. Every playground I knew had an eel pit. Must be a regional thing.

Sterling left his eel pals behind when he ended up in dad’s lobster pot.
