If it works, keep it. The next new one you buy probably won’t last as long as that one has.

Don’t see an argument for a new monitor. Fridge has a payback.

I’m unconvinced there have been any killer app new features for fridges since … 1960 or so? I would buy a new computer over a new fridge myself, and I’m pretty sure mine’s pushing 20 now.

You replace fridges only when you have to, not because the new ones have more features! :P

We replaced ours because the ice maker went out. The old one is in the laundry room, both are full now since our son and family(of 3) moved back. They are so helpful to us.

Fridges last , but the shelves are expensive to replace.

So, what’s the big thing in new fridges? Mine lacks a water dispenser, but we have soda water on tap in the kegerator.

Think you’re going to get frozen out on this one Junior.

Or get a refrigerator with bluetooth?

Maybe it’s different in Canada, but in the USA fridges are absolutely more expensive than gaming monitors… unless he wants two monitors or something.

In my life, family homes or my apartments, all my refrigerators were “groaners”… ㋡
