Annie remembers when she was a foster.

Ooo…such an attitude, Sophie! Don’t be a dog in a manger.

Sophie has the right idea. “They’re soooo c-u-t-e! I just want to hug them to death!” More food for me.

I tend to think ours do too because the fosters we’ve “failed” over the years in turn raise the new ones come in. There are some behaviors that have carried over through too many groups to not believe that.

Someone’s a little cranky.

Now if humans could only be as generous as Annie.

Come on little miss grumpy. You have a duty to dogdom to take the little tail biters and teach them to properly mooch and steal snacks. It’s in your blood.

Makes me think of the various cats my family has had over the years, and their general reaction to having new cats enter the home…mostly like Sophie’s attitude right here.

Sophie, stop being like a cat.

Aw, Annie is so maternal.

OK, predictions as to the breed?

Our cats have all been together for years, and they all are still possessive about food and get jealous when they aren’t the center of attention

I think Mr. Anderson is baiting us with this one…

Sophie, your got the wrong attitude. Think of the little puppy minds you can corrupt.

I guess Sophie’s been spared the life of fosterdom.

It’s rare that I actually do LOL (good thing, since I read my comics at work) but this time….

We’re a foster-failure family! Unfortunately, our fostered chihuahua girl was mauled by our new neighbor’s dog. Happy ending: We quickly adopted a soon-to-be-bait-dog chihuahua PUPPY. He’s a LOON!!!:DDD
