That’s because he’s really a calculator. His only good subject is Arithmetic.

He spends too much time texting and not enough time with the textbooks.
Like most kids his age during the first class, he was just in power-saving mode.
If he doesn’t straighten himself out, he may grow up to be a brick.
Perhaps he’s in battery saver mode?
