OK, I can appreciate magic that is methodical enough to do “test runs”.

Looks like they understand spacetime coordinates.

All the traveling back and forth between worlds reminds me of one of my favorite H. P. Lovecraft stories, “The Dreams in the Witch House”:

How delightful of Olwen to pay a visit. They will feel loved. Or something.

Apologies, with my kids out of school tomorrow inking slipped my mind! (It is synced with some of their routines). We will return on Wednesday with a new strip. I hope everyone has a peaceful and reflective Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Olwen was going to visit the being who taught her to fire-scry. Do a little recon before tackling the main event.
