Make the green stuff is supposed to be green, and the brown supposed to be brown. If you can’t ID it, pitch.

In my house, we call that Dad Food.

Our trash goes out on Monday nights, so every Monday I pull everything off one shelf, try to identify the contents, and wipe down the containers. I do the freezer on “fifth Mondays”. It keeps things from crawling to the back of the shelf and turning green.

And please, do not “give it to the dog”. :-o

If in doubt, throw it out.

Been there, done that. When you have to mow the mold off something in the fridge, you know it has been in the back of the fridge FAR too long.

Adventures in Eating Night!

Sometimes they make the best meal!

Making room for Christmas leftovers we discovered a tub of turkey from Thanksgiving. It still looked good but an internet search said it was only good for two days so we missed that deadline by a month or so. Too bad, I love turkey sandwiches!

Refrigerator Russian Roulette. Better make a Pepto Bismol cake for dessert.

Left over night… always start with the oldest and work forward. Or refrigerator stew. Never had a bad one, but the best ones are hard to duplicate

Never underestimate the power of ramen as a leftovers delivery system.

I don’t have ‘leftovers’, but I do have ‘forgottens’.

Ah, I don’t know the artist, but he must have a camera in our house… the strip has our life down so closely…
