that’s crossing the line in Multi-Tasking.

This is me euchre tv and headphones going at the same time

This is more like my home life than I’ve cared to admit…until now.

It helps if you have multiple computers and monitors.

Sometimes I stream movies and TV shows while teleworking.

“I can only do three things at once. You talking to me, that’s four things.”

Of course it’s easier for me to say this now, but I remember being shushed as a child. I determined I would never do that to my children. Thanks to the fact that TV has pause/rewind of live TV, and recorded shows on a DVR, I am able to be true to my intentions.

Even if we did not have the technology we have today, there is nothing more important than answering a quick question, even if the answer is…“let me get back to you on that.” And then doing so.

Listening to the radio while driving is doing two things.

Need at least three monitors.

It looks like someone is a good multitasker.

It’s complicated……

My husband watches one rodeo (or some other timed event like team penning or whatever) on tv while watching two others on his computer. How he keeps track of the riders and times is beyond me. I guess it’s a cowboy thing. But then he gets a magazine that is nothing but rodeo and rider stats. No pictures, no stories…just stats.

I’ve pretty much quit watching tv. I haven’t turned it on in two weeks. I used to have a long list of shows I recorded and watched. Two weeks ago, I went through that list and deleted 95% of them. Sitcoms? Gone. Dramas? All gone except for Blue Bloods. I kept the ones like Northwoods Law and The Aquarium.

I watch the news while reading GoComics. GoComics makes it much easier to deal with the news.

O.K., Ralph, you’ve come in third, behind three non-personal, electronic pass times. Take a short video clip of her so engaged. Show it to her the next time she accuses you of not communicating.

The Podcast and the movie would clash…

If you can’t include briefly greeting your husband while multi-tasking, you’re doing it wrong. Now he knows where he stands on your list of priorities.

early ’60’s, Sis would have the phone extension cord stretched talking to her bff about the dancers on ‘American Bandstand’ while dancing and ironing her blouses with Niagara Spray Starch..

I have a hard time walking and chewing gum.

That’s what my wife does, while we’re playing video games. It drives me nuts.

She has to keep all her personalities occupied….
