Fun until the bottom. Oh dear! I hope thereās some soft grass or bushes at the bottom even if the grass is brown, it will soften the landing. Same with dormant shrubs.
When I was in high school, the school bus stop was at the bottom of a hill like this. We used to āskiā down the hill on icy mornings but I donāt recall anyone taking a bad fall. We didnāt get to do that very often though ā the local volunteer fire department was across the street at the bottom of the hill & quite a few firefighters lived in our neighborhood, so our street was one of the first to get plowed & heavily salted so they could get there safely when the siren went off.
When my Mom (1910-2001) was a little girl, she used to catch rides across town in the Winter on the runners of horse drawn sleighs. Then to get back home, sheād catch a ride on another sleigh headed back towards home. It was a fairly small town, but can you the uproar that kind of behavior would create today? In her day, it created a sense of independence and confidence.

Good thing it is a comic and they can make any end they please, so please have them find safety at the bottom.
