this cartoon seems a little formulaic to me.

Weapons of math instruction.

For kicks I used to assign different numbers to the paint and never kept in the lines.

I’m a Math Major and I approve of this cartoon. It was always one of the many appealing aspects of Foxtrot. And, I especially love KenKen puzzles. I used to figure out batting averages as a kid.

I just dropped by to see how many people would “do the math.”

So…. green and purple?

I’m not sure I could connect the dots on those…

Is everyone else smarter than me? I just don’t get it.

I could solve the fraction one intuitively, but couldn’t remember how to do it mathematically.
