I always though March came in like a Wombat and goes out like a Capybara!

I find myself wondering what Caulfield will become as an adult. Either a stand-up comedian or a celebrated English Lit professor would be my guess. Or maybe a poet laureate.

I notice all of Caulfield’s “in-and-out” suggestions are alliterative.

I wonder what he might come up with for the whole alphabet?

Would he have to stop at “Z”?

Is it now illegal to go “On Beyond Zebra”?

It comes in like Flynn and exits like “out out brief candle.”

Yea, Dim Wit, and sometimes (the other case) it “comes in like a Lamb and goes out like a Lion”.

Never mind the times nothing really changes during March. Not to mention that by now, half the people couldn’t tell you what the weather was like a week ago … much less by the 31st.

He’s going for the Peter Piper picked . . . effect. And doing it rather well. Evocative and challenging. Also typical of the insufficiently challenged intellect, whose greatest frustration is also its greatest form of inspiration.

Caulfield likes to hear the sound of his own voice!

As usual, a lot of noise posing as clever and signifying nothing.

In 2020, March came In like a lion and went out like a velociraptor.

If March winds and April showers bring forth Mayflowers, what do Mayflowers bring?

Is Mallet always like that? Nary a March without a lion/lamb joke.

Caulfield is the child that every good educator delights in and is terrified by.
