The city counsel just passed an extension to the pig bylaw, people can continue to keep pigs in their house, like pet dogs and cats. The city is still arguing about chickens in the yard. They would naturally take care of bugs, however a fox moved in last summer and you can see the tracks in the snow. People need to watch their dogs.
