“Someone should have set a match to this place long ago!” (Just kidding, Pab. I’ve been honored to be a part of this community, and will deeply miss the daily hijinks.)
So I was reading this book called “Everything’s Coming Up Profits” in the restaurant and the waitress asked what it was about. I pointed to the part I was reading about a couple of guys who did an industrial musical about Ford Tractors and then went on to create “Fiddler on the Roof”!
She didn’t know what that was.
She was 19, and the only musicals she knew were “Rocky Horror” and “Across the Universe.”
Family anecdote: My maternal grandparents left their shtetl and came to the US. Both ended up as union organizers. One never knows what change will bring, Mr. Sungenis!
A little bit of this, a little bit of thatA house, a broom, a stick, a hat…Thanks for 15 years of smiles, laughs and a few tears (both happy and sad), interspersed with trenchant observations of modern life. Good luck wherever life takes you, Pab!

Go n-éirí an bóthar leat
Go raibh an ghaoth go brách ag do chúl
Go lonraí an ghrian go te ar d’aghaidh
Go dtite an bháisteach go mín ar do pháirceanna
Agus go mbuailimid le chéile arís,
Go gcoinní Dia i mbos A láimhe thú!

Of course, this was before “Glee” hit it big…
