Sometimes on the news on French TV channels, someone will be holding forth and under their name on the screen it says “Philosophe.” I always wonder—how much does that pay?
An impressively sophisticated vocabulary and very good cursive writing from someone Sally’s age! She beats her big brother hands down when it comes to writing.
I turn on my black and white phosphor/To watch my favorite philosopher/His name isn’t Spock/And he’s not really a doc/But he helps me to live long and prosper.
Most of the Greek philosophers wouldn’t take women as students (Epicurus being a notable exception). Sally would be mighty upset if someone told her she COULDN’T watch the philosophers…

Considering all the trash on TV these days, a philosopher might actually be an improvement.

You’re in the wrong strip, kid. Half the kids you interact with are philosophizing on something at least once a week.

Better to watch “AGT”? Or “AFV”? Better yet, just turn in early.

I have to wonder how many kids out there can’t read this. It is a code base called ‘Cursive.’ You should learn it.

Me too Sally, it’s all Greek to me. (Please note all grammar police that I used two correctly twice in that sentence.)
