Horace seems to be having a problem with backing up lately.
True story: my wife and I were in the car of a friend of hers. We were in a car park and she needed to back up to maneuver. She looked back, saw a column and said, âthere it isâ. Then she proceeded to reverse and hit the column.
Instead of laughing, I went into instant nerd mode and started thinking about how to implement central lighting, and weighing itâs advantages. It can be done, but I think the losses would make it very inefficient.
There are illuminated bollards that work like that. Good design â if someone hits it, you donât get live electric wires exposed, and you only have to replace the above-ground plastic component.
