Anosmia Awareness Day on February 27th brings attention to a condition causing a loss of smell. Of all our senses, smell perhaps is taken for granted more than any other.There are many causes of Anosmia. The most common reasons are due to upper respiratory or sinus/nasal infections or diseases. We’ve all experienced a cold or allergy that’s temporarily prevented us from smelling.However, other conditions cause a permanent or long-term loss of the sense. When anosmia symptoms are prolonged or lifelong, many anosmics do not get to enjoy the flavor of foods, the scent of an infant or use their sense of smell as an early warning system for danger.Our olfactory sense has a powerful effect on memories and emotions. When we lose this sense, the impact is terrific. Anosmia Awareness Day provides an opportunity to learn more about the condition and where to go for support.
National Kahlua Day. National Kahlúa Day on February 27th recognizes the rich, cream coffee liqueur that also serves up a great many delicious desserts! This alcoholic beverage adds to cocktails and adult flavored desserts equally well. To celebrate, you may want to use Kahlua, a coffee-flavored rum-based liquor, to flavor your ice cream or another dessert such as cheesecake or cake. It also tastes great in coffee, hot chocolate, creamy cocktails, as a shot or on the rocks.

Jack and Chesney’s latest scheme is out of this world. (Or it would be if they had actually manage to get off the ground instead of making a hole in it.) On another note, saw seven juncos, a sparrow, six varied thrushes, and a raven while out walking today.

I got my 2nd inoculation yesterday.
I didn’t get any skin discoloration, but i have plenty of site discomfort to make up for it.
The worst for me was/is a killer headache and chills. I had a hard time sleeping because i’d wake up sweating and freezing.
I also have a bit of fatigue.

I am in isolation for the first two weeks in my own room. Despite having my first Moderna vaccine shot, I am now on my 11th Covid-19 test.
I wake between 5:30 and 6:00. I get ready for the day. There are 3 to 5 physical sessions per day.
