1: Funny how the copper’s jacket buttons stick way out. You can still tell it’s police from the side. 2: You’re not so big – ping! 3: Fuzzy the umbrella guy already found his porch to sleep on. Bozo had to wait.
And although this goes without saying, I has to say it that it’s a great joy to read Bozo everyday. Such a wonderfully drawn comic, with such great drawing skills that creates a three dimensional scene with characters and objects at different depths, all this drawn on two dimensional paper.
I don’t recalls any other funnies which is drawn with such depth perspectives so consistently. Not only did Foxo did a great job on the funny gags, that too without any dialogues, he did a great job in artwork too.
The unfortunate thing was that Foxo and Bozo remained unknown for lotsa folks for so long. But not anymore, thanks to Mr. Michael Reardon and Go Comics. Once again, a big thumbs up and a big applause for Foxo’s marvellous masterpiece, the picturesque pantomime, the wordless wonder called Bozo!
So is Bozo supposed to be homeless? He seems to alternate between an apartment and sleeping on doorsteps, not to mention the occasional lady friend’s house.
1) Mistaken Identity: Bozo’s nemesis, Beat Cop, gives chase and captures a robber in uniform. whew that was a close one brother!
2) I Got My Eye on You!: A huge thug is after Bozo who takes a telescope and looks at the mug of the goon reversed then jumped up and clops him on his Popeye chin.
3) Any Port: Bozo is homeless and waits for the milk to be taken in before settling down to sleep in front of the door.

1 Luckily, Bozo managed to look more like a part of the posse than the pursued.
2 So much for the undercover cop assigned to the Bozo case.

In #2, last panel, I laughed at the sound effect when Bozo punched the guy. “Ping!”
