So June Laver made up the entire Johnson vs Bolgani story after giving Charles a mickey in his morning coffee? Ranger dressed in an ape suit made off with Johnson in hopes that Charles would off himself being so grief stricken. Is this what they meant by “It’s arranged”? I wouldn’t take that devious vixen’s work for anything, I’d wager she’s even a big phony in the sack……Oooooo Ahhhhhhhh, yeah right!
Looking back at the abduction scene, I can’t see an ape carrying anyone like that, if it was a guy in a suit he was taking a hell of a risk at of getting shot…..
How would Charles know that he was out for an hour? And what could his wife have done in that ‘hour’?And I think that Tarzan is not really polite, murmuring to this poor guy.
Well, Tarzan. Had you asked this to Mr. Wimpy earlier and exposed her lies then and there, you needn’t have killed this poor leopard, jungle wiseguy. And what’s the guarantee she’s going to believe that he killed this poor leopard himself? Did you film the whole scene with the help of your movie crew pals or something?
Well, well, well. Tarzan’s starting to get to the bottom of this little saga. I think it’s time to dig a pit and catch the rascals! I suspect Ms June and Mr. Johnson havea n elaborate plan to rid the world of Charles. June, being the widow, will inherit a boatload of money and power.
I wish this strip was written by one of the old comix guys… Crumb , Clay Wilson or such. Can’t remember other names, but often (always?) pretty raw. I’d have much more joyful anticipation of the next strip.
Who killed the kitty? Go back to 4/29 and you’ll see Laver did it to save Tarzan. Typical unreliable crime scene witnesses. If he hadn’t done it, this comic strip might have been over! Ya want that?
