We have a flock of robins that stayed in Kansas City all winter. They could be seen quite a few mornings eating the berries off the wild honeysuckle bushes. Wild honeysuckle is a recent arrival in Kansas City, and it is taking over all our wooded natural areas.

I feel his pain
Here in Loveland colorado we just had 28 inches of snow in not much more than 24 hours
I shoveled when I got home from work yesterday, was off last night
This morning I can’t hardly see any evidence I shoveled at all yesterday

Highs only in the teen’s F here in the northeast U.S. today, with wind. Late winter indeed.

I’ve seen robins already! Since they won’t go to the bird feeder, I toss some in the grass and they love it! Rocking Robin!

Yeah, the first robins I see nearly always arrive before winter has entirely given up
