Today is:

International Women’s Day. I’ve been posting these “holidays” every day for just over a year now and I don’t remember ever seeing an International Men’s Day. If there isn’t one, I think that should be remedied.

Chicken wings are the best.

I don’t understand the draw of chicken wing or ribs. There’s so little meat on either one of them and they’re very messy to eat. I’m allergic to chicken and not a big fan of beef so never bother with either one. By the way, wouldn’t there be a lot of meat on turkey wings? Why don’t people eat those? Or buffalo ribs?

Flying kitties?

I know a Gentleman Bear that would say,

Chesney thinks about the important things!

Flying kitties, particularly Chesney and Jack, would be scary. They already defy gravity and the laws of physics. Throw in wings, and humanity is doomed. A really fun comic read is ZEUS IS DEAD: A MONSTROUSLY INCONVENIENT ADVENTURE by Michael G. Munz. The Greek Gods return to present day, and some of them decide it would be fun to come up with horrific monsters to bedevil humanity. One really dangerous one is razor-winged attack kittens who attack in swarms. Shiver.

Jack and Chesney made it into Heaven? Will wonders never cease? On another note, saw eight juncos, an eagle, a wren, a rabbit, and a towhee while out walking today.
