I do that often.

He needs Bounty, the quicker picker-upper! (Makes no sense, because they’re paper towels, but I’ve always had that slogan stuck in my head.)

We have a picker-upper to pick up the picker-upper we use to pick up the picker-upper.

We have one of those things somewhere …..

This is why they are sold in packs of two.

This is fact! I had a “grabber” handle break. My bride got me a new one, and I fixed the old one with a thin wooden handle. I use the old one to pick up the new. I also have grabbers in the bathroom, bedroom, living room and the car. Handy little boogers.

That’s because the older a Plugger gets, the allowable angle of declination decreases.

I’ve been using ours to turn the gas fireplace on. The switch is behind seven large potted plants. By the time they move outside, we won’t need the fireplace.

Everything else on the ground is too small to see clearly anyway.

Em Pluggers. They so picky. Heh heh heh.

A friend attached clips to her cane to hold her grabber. Pretty convenient, unless her cane falls over.

I have lived it.

First, it was a ruptured disc, then a ladder of screws to hold the spine together, the surgery went REEEEL badly, (never trust the words; “Spinal Institute”) then a “Sock Slider” (as seen on TV) and now, I suppose a ‘grabber’ is next on my list of “Things I Never Thought I’d Ever Use In Retirement.” And of course, this dam Pandemic ain’t been much help, neither……Chester A. Riley would say; “What a revoltin’ development THIS is !!”

Pluggers must be flexible. To a point.
