The $9 roadster, a nod to Smokey Stover, and 1936! Maybe we meet Nina tomorrow (or Monday). I’m liking this little story greatly.

Gideon works to hold onto a key employee, but is it too late?

Meanwhile Judy is thinking of the road not taken in life, where she moved to California and eventually beat out Carol Merrill for the “Let’s Make a Deal” job, 51 years ago today in the Alley:

If Walt’s whole life is passing before his eyes before he dies, then what a sweet and clever way to send him off.

This has turned into quite the original little story arc, super cool! Jim’s new take on a walk down memory lane is refreshing, clever and, best of all, FUN! Just one more reason to love Gasoline Alley. It’s been around over 100 years and it can use that powerful advantage to create fun, new ways of doing things.

Long live Walt and the Gang!

Would you like them here or there?

I do not like them here or there.

I would not like them anywhere.

I do not like green gams to stand.

    I am embarrassed, Pesky man.

Lily sends Manuel to take care of El Fido, whose plan turns out to be sending El Fido to Lily, so she can take care of the revolutión.

A woman’s work is never done in the Old West (or is it the OId New West?)

Hi, “Poore.ronnie.” I put the question you asked to Jim Scancarelli, directly, and a few minutes ago he sent me a Text Message with this response: BEGIN QUOTE: “How many of us think of ourselves as being the youthful entity we once were and, as we stare into the mirror, an aging parent’s visage glares back. With the passage of time we turn into the parent and, sadly, they become the child. I thought it would be fun to peek in on a crazy dream Uncle Walt was having.” END QUOTE.

    Respectfully,

    Lew Stern

Still a curious deviation from the normal story arc.

Walt’s life is flashing before his eyes. Does that tell us something?
