Great example of using the right word for the job. Years ago we lived near a coffee store whose sign said, “Coffee, tea, and complimentary devices.” I decided that sycophantic kitchen gadgets weren’t for me.
Both my wife and I fall outside of what is considered “normal”. I have been diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome and my wife suffers from type 2 bipolar disorder. Because our two conditions, we are well able to help each other and are more considerate of both each other’s quirks and weaknesses.

Weird is a good thing. Means you think outside the box. It’s great that you found a mate to share your weirdness with and understand it.

I’m catching up so I don’t know if you’ll even see this, but I think your last line is worthy of being quoted far and wide.
