If it wasn’t for bad luck Dave Dooley wouldn’t have no luck at all!

Mort struck the local Oil Company’s pipe line. And “Lucky” Dooley estate gets to pay for all the repair work.

Hang down your head Dave Dooley, poor boy you’re bound to die.

Interesting question. You own the plot. If they strike oil while digging in your plot, don’t you own it? Or rather, your estate?

His descendants might have got lucky though…..

Hope the family gets to claim rights to that little plot of land.

Reminds me of the movie “Texas Across the River.” Everywhere they dug they kept running into this “black death”.
