Stop hamming it up, boys, you’re starting to become boaring. Sow what if you’re offended, get back to work and make some bacon.

This quote works for me. Its now very common to hear people say, “I´m rather offended by that,” as if that gives them certain rights. It´s no more than a whine. It has no meaning, it has no purpose, it has no meaning as a phrase.

    “I´m OFFENDED by that.”

    Well, so ******* what?

80 million followers isn’t a lot. You can buy them in packs of 20 million, so why didn’t the pigs go for the economy six-pack option instead? (Yeah, yeah, I know—“Because pigs don’t have six-packs.”)

While I am NOT a fan of cancel culture, I’ve always thought that comparing the bad acts of humans to one animal or another was completely uncalled for, being that animals generally do what they’re supposed to do which is WAY more than you can say for most humans.

“HOG, n. A bird remarkable for the catholicity of its appetite and serving to illustrate that of ours. …… The scientific name of this dicky-bird is Porcus Rockefelleri. Mr. Rockefeller did not discover the hog, but it is considered his by right of resemblance.” — The Devil’s Dictionary, by Ambrose Bierce.

A timely comic, for sure. Maybe even brave. It won’t be long before someone is canceled for criticizing cancel culture as a general concept. Cancel culture is effectively cancelling the first amendment.
