Best wishes to ya! Gonna miss the new stuff (sniff).

So does this mean no new strips at all, or just maybe occasional ones? You life has never lacked for material. Homeslice surely provides ample experiences. We will take them when we can get them.

“… cause it was fun and I had the time.” Hope springs eternal that you will find the time to have fun here again. Otherwise I will enjoy your two Instagram accounts, hope to see you play trombone someday. Oh, and wait the return of my self-addressed envelope… ( when you are not to busy. :-). Lennie is has been a pleasure.

Better to leave on your terms rather than someone else’s terms.

Very interesting, and touching. The role of the cat(s) makes a big difference for me. And the wonderfully gentle humor is soothing.

SJ. Perelman seemed to think that all humor is basically mean, but I doubt it. A lot of it is (and highly enjoyable, don’t get me wrong—Perelman was a deity of mine) but it doesn’t have to be. I used to enjoy the strip “Pickles”, but after a while I noticed that an awful lot of its “humor” was unkind to the people involved.

You know, a nap does sound kind of nice!

All this time you were famous, and we thought you were just a regular schlub like the rest of us.

Here’s hoping there’s a repeat of 2015 – and not quite so long a time. I think it was just before 2015 that I started reading; I remember the restart when it happened. It was so much fun I went back and reread the whole series. Please keep the strip, and us, in mind!

Naps are always good. Still sad you are leaving, but glad it is on your own terms. Anxiously awaiting the special something you have worked out with the site. Any guesses yet? I’m thinking either the continuation of birthdays, or a cat-moderator to introduce the cartoons in some fashion?

I was getting sad, but then one of the cats launched off my arm and now I’m bleeding. Not much of a send-off, but probably appropriate… Gonna miss you and your little family. Best of luck, and feel free to come back any time. <3

I hope GoComics leaves these strips online. Since I missed the first many years of the strip I am going to read the strips from the beginning. The tough part will be limiting myself to one or two strips a day and not binge reading.
