HarDhar. Ol’ Al managed a twofer AND he actually worked in something true. As for Biden eating the cash: Standard and Poors estimates that every dollar spent on this package will return a little over two dollars to our society. Two for one really!

Didn’t the conservaclowns learn from their utter failure to make the Hunter Biden narrative stick? So now they’re going after Joe’s dog? Meanwhile, Matt Gaetz is suffering from political rabies, but that they keep quiet . . .

“Why can’t Biden agree with us and offer the people more austerity?” the “Republicans” ask.

In Al’s universe, rampant Republican deficit and debt is roundly ignored… wait, it happens in this world, too.

Where’s your comic giving tax dollars back to the 1%-ers? That depleted the income without any benefit to the rest of the United States. At least what Biden’s doing will ultimately benefit ALL Americans, create new jobs and new economic opportunities.

Eating the cash was the specialty of the previous administration.

I’ve watched Bush speak. I’ve watched (with great effort) Trump speak. I’ve watched Biden speak. I’ll take Biden.

No complaint when Trump ran up the deficit by cutting taxes for himself and others who are the wealthiest among us.

The real tragedy is that Matt Gaetz and Rand Paul are unscathed.

No Republican voted for the new bill to help get money to people that need it or money for infrastructure, but now they tweet how great it is and want to take credit . . . very typical of them. Just like Trump. Voters will remember every November.

I bought a piece of property from a builder, and he had built multiple buildings, some of them sizable. It cost me a fortune to put new roofs on each one, and new gutters. I did that almost two decades ago, and my buildings are dry and so are their foundations.

Every day I pass a house whose roof looked shabby at first. Then I saw a small hole. Now it’s about twice the size of a basketball hoop, and the siding on the bottom of the house is rotting from the inside. I have no doubt there is a major mold problem in that house. I shudder to think about the electrical wiring in that outside wall. I suppose the occupants choose not to use that part of the building.

My investment has endured and kept my property value where it should be. Their lack of investment will result in the dwelling being bulldozed.

A stitch in time, Mr. Goodwyn. In the case of the USA, a stitch way later than when initially warranted, but there’s no time like the present to stop the drips.

German Shepherds are naturally territorial and protective of their humans. Some have a warped sense of humor. The rescue shepherd I had years ago liked to grab hands. OK, he liked to growl and grab hands. It was like a test as much as a game. If the person didn’t pull away and let him grab the hand he wouldn’t bite, and he’d stop. If the person kept pulling their hand away, it turned into a game of ‘made you move.’ Oddly, I had a friend with an Akita that played the same trust game. I was the only one that finally just let her grab my hand. Yup, I became her favorite visitor after that.

Odd how stimulus was considered necessary and good while #45 was President… but as soon as we have President #46 stimulus is considered wasteful and too expense…
