A squirrel renting a squirrel, how novel.

RENT A SQUIRREL!!!! Are you nuts? It helps.

Those people have better business sense than me. My idea, Rent-a-Rat, didn’t do so well.

Well, if the squirrel knows how to pose for selfies, Rent-a-Squirrel must have trained them pretty well.

The squirrel said, I want my money back.

Monty, watch out! Too friendly squirrels can have rabies!

Squirrels are just furry tailed rats with better PR. They are highly destructive.

I’d frequent that business.

Those rent-to-own squirrel places are a rip-off.

They were popular pets in 18ᵗʰ̶ and 19ᵗʰ̶ Centuries.

Tragically mine was involved in a hit an run. Kissed my security deposit goodbye.

This was surreal and absurdist. I love it!

You can have any one of the 50 I have around here for free….

Oh, yeah. I think I saw that place in the mall – right next to Rent-a-Skunk.

I got one, but it went nuts.

…the day needed all too soon. And Monty never forgot that for one day he and “Pancake” the squirrel shared a golden moment.

We get plenty of squirrels in our yard. The only cost is for the bird seed that falls on the ground. Sometimes they all play well together. Other times one of them decides to chase off another squirrel for some reason.

The swings are my favorite too! :)

What?! You didn’t share a drink?! Unconscionable!

All things pass. Yesterday, I saw a dead rat in the middle of the road; no squirrels.

My grandfather used to sit with me, and we’d feed peanuts to the squirrels by the hero’s monument by which we sat in the park. But they weren’t so well trained as these new-fangled Rent-A-Squirrels!
