For those worried about Joel’s pipe, you can now relax.

This is a reference comment so people who want to read about and discuss the history of Gasoline Alley can put their comments in replies. Those who don’t can bypass the discussion by leaving the replies closed. Fair for everyone, I think.

So not only is the word “family” too hard for them to pronounce properly, but now they don’t even seem to know right from left. What exactly is so endearing about these two halfwits, may I ask? Because all I’m seeing here is the American version of “Kazakhstan” from the Borat movies, only less funny.

We have a large Amish population here in our corner of heaven. They’re great folks, but do make driving a challenge sometimes.

Thank you Jim S for putting " GERTIE " aside and out of the pic. I thing you overdid her, we needed a change,….I luv the adventures of Rufus & Joel or Slim & Clovia better,

I have to say I have liked Gertie in the last arc….. BUT I am extremely pleased Joel is back!!! ….And that he found his pipe!!!!! …. it made him seem rather “nekkid” without it yesterday (referencing his own words from a strip a few years ago when Rufus did something or other that landed both of them in jail overnight).

Im still hoping they will let walt die and bring back the realizim the strip once had. Let them age and die it was what made gasoline alley unique in the comic world. Skeezix is in his 90s and slim in his 80s at least. even boog has grown some Let Walt die and move on. He is like 125 now. Oldest person in the US right now is 114. so its time
