obsessive parking behavior, huh?once my mother forgot where she had parked, she had to go through ALL 8TH FLOOR SEVERAL TIMES TO FIND HER CAR…and passed in front to it 3 times at least.
My wife once lost her new car in the multi-level parking lot at Cherry Creek Mall. She forgot on which level she entered the mall and came out on a different, but similar looking, level and was ready to report her car stolen. Her confusion was exacerbated by the mall design. The mall levels are half a flight of stairs offset from the parking levels.
I flew to Phoenix, picked up a rental car, picked up my son and drove to a concert. Walking away from the parked car in a huge parking lot, I realized I had no idea what kind of car I was driving. I had a vision of waiting for thousands of people to leave so I could find the only car left! I turned around and wrote myself a note of what the car was and where it was.
I tend to park in the same general area at stores I go to often (think Wally World). The pandemic messed me up big time when they closed my preferred (garden center) entrance and the only one open was the one furthest away. Thank goodness they’ve opened things back up now.

Well I guess it’s no worse than tying a plastic flower to the antenna.

Not a problem with an eight-foot tall van.

We bought a used Subaru last year that is nearly identical to something like a billion others
I’m very obsessive about where I park, but then I’m pretty obsessive about everything

Little phone app I call “Dude, where’s my car?” works every time.

Shouldn’t be a problem finding the Popemobile.

Good plan, Sarah. Driving for almost 50 years, and I still forget where I parked.

I always park out in the parking lot boonies because most people are too lazy to walk that far so my car is all by its lonesome.
