Life after death? No. Death after life? Yes.

The Great Steering Wheel in the Big Beyond turns only one way Calvin – a continuous life-death cycle ad infinitum. And yes, it has no brakes either.

I like the expression on Hobbes’s face in panel 2. Calvin’s thoughts on life after death are already starting to make him nervous.

It’s never a good sign to be asked that by the person controlling the vehicle.

I believe in life after death. It is a basic tenet of Christianity. Because I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, I know that after my physical body dies, I will still be alive in Heaven.

I swear there ain’t no heaven, and I pray there ain’t no hell…

Noticing Calvin’s head position looking backward in half the frames does NOT bode well for him as a driver when he gets his license.

No one knows anything about “after-death” beyond what happens to the body. Like conjectures about God, we have only the guesses of other humans about reincarnation, though there are some truly alluring scientifically investigated published personal anecdotes. (Still, I believe God is real and reincarnation of some sort may be. That’s my belief .).

Here’s a real philosophical question for you: Do you believe in life BEFORE death?

I see most religious texts as fairy tales and constantly contradicts themselves just a few pages later. The Bible, The Koran, and other such collections of fairy tales do this.

I have ridden with friends when I hoped that Reincarnation was a real thing.
