Lettuce returns to the store and lettuce pray the store lets us get our money back.

Nate is being practical, he KNOWS the giant rabbits will get all Charleys lettuce.

No, Nate, you are not allowed to prefer store-bought lettuce. Sorry, but that’s just not how this works.

Maybe he can trade it in for some nice hasenpfeffer.

If you’re going to be sneaky, next time put something on top of the lettuce so Charley won’t know.

The heat turns lettuce tough quite early around here. I should probably plant it in February and be done with it by May.

I’ve been harvesting lettuce from my garden all week. It is as good as any I have ever got at the grocery store or fruit market.
